A look at the path to the corporate group
An idea became a company. The company became a group. 15 years later, Triopt is an integral part of the telecommunications industry – with around 358 employees, five companies and a clear view of the future.
Jörg Dahms and Patric de Valk founded Triopt GmbH in July 2010. The company began its work in the telecommunications industry in a few offices in the D2 Park in Ratingen – with a clear focus on quality and flexibility. In the following years, this developed into today’s Triopt Group with headquarters in Moers.
Under the umbrella of Triopt GmbH, TriPro GmbH, Triopt-Bau GmbH and TriJobs GmbH, the group covered a wide range of services: from the planning and project management of mobile and fixed network infrastructures to civil engineering and pipeline construction to technical services for network operators and industry.
Growth, change and new perspectives
Over the years, new business areas have been established – including energy, software development and private 5G solutions for industrial automation. Planning capacities were expanded and strengthened with the founding of Triopt Romania SRL. The integration into vitronet Holding opened up new strategic perspectives. The steady expansion was also reflected in the infrastructure: new office buildings, a metal construction hall and a modern warehouse were built in Moers as a direct result of the continuous growth.
When we started back then, Patric and I talked about how it would be a huge success if we could get to 15 to 20 employees. Now – 15 years later – we are over 350. The whole thing would never have been possible without our dedicated team. A huge thank you to all the employees who have been on this journey with us.

Patric de Valk left the company at the end of January 2024. In fall 2024, Nils Ermert joined as additional CEO and has since assumed responsibility for the further strategic development of the Group.
