Triopt Group wins the Barmer Company Football Cup in Moers – a victory for a good cause.
The Barmer Company Football Cup celebrated its second edition this year in Moers/Duisburg. After the 2024 tournament was held at the VfL Repelen grounds, this time the ball rolled at GSV Moers. The event was organized by Barmer health insurance, which once again combined sports and social engagement with Kindernothilfe Duisburg. For every goal scored, the participating companies made a donation to Kindernothilfe.
We were no different: we entered the tournament with this special motivation and confidently won the preliminary round. The knockout games remained exciting, and the grand final also demanded everything we had. It was only in the penalty shootout that the decision was made: in the end, we were able to lift the trophy.
A real Cinderella story: Last year we were still at the bottom of the table, but this time we were right at the top. From tournament to tournament, we grew closer together and our colleagues became a real team. Now we have reaped our first sporting success: because we not only live teamwork in our everyday work, but also on the playing field.
However, just as important as the trophy is the support for Kindernothilfe Duisburg. Thanks to the goals scored by all teams, an impressive four-figure donation was once again raised.

The Barmer Company Football Cup 2025 in Moers will remain an unforgettable experience for us – both in terms of sport and on a personal level. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Barmer for the excellent organization and to everyone involved, and we are already looking forward to participating again next year.
